Lap An lagoon, also called "An Cu lagoon", "Vung An Cu lagoon" or "Lang Co lagoon" is a brackish water lagoon located by Phu Gia pass, Lang Co bay in Lang Co townlet, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province. Situated about over 50 kilometers from Hue city center, Lap An is one of the 12 typical lagoons in Central Vietnam.
The area of lagoon’s basin and water surface is 71 and 16,47 square kilometer, respectively. Its water is mainly from rivers, streams and sea bay. Surrounded by Bach Ma Mountain and Lang Co sea, Lap An lagoon impresses visitors by its breathtaking beauty.
Lap An lagoon looks like a giant mirror reflecting Bach Ma mountain and clear blue sky. When the tide falls, a road appears and is known as a popular selfie destination for the young.
