Thuan An beach is located in Thuan An ward, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province. It is about 15km to the East of Hue city's center.
Besides Lang Co beach and Tam Giang lagoon, Thuan An beach is a natural masterpiece attracting near and far visitors. Thuan An beach was where Tam Giang lagoon runs to the East Sea and joins the vast ocean. Therefore, it shows the beauty of both the river and the sea. Thuan An was ranked 10th in "Than kinh nhi thap canh" (the twenty beautiful landscapes in Hue) by Emperor Thieu Tri.
Visiting Thuan An beach, visitors have a chance not only to sightsee or swim, but also get new experience by discovering fishing villages and fisherman's night life. Little fishing ship in the ocean and fisherman's tough life are alike. However, they love and uphold this tradition.
