On January 5th, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee held the grand opening ceremony of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Public Administration Center. Attending the ceremony were head of Administrative Reform Department, Ministry of Home Affairs Pham Minh Hung; Vice Director of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang Huynh Khanh Van; Secretary of Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council Le Truong Luu; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao; provincial leaders; leaders of departments and agencies and 300 enterprises.
Thua Thien Hue Provincial Public Administration Center was founded in accordance with Decision No. 1416/QD-UBND dated June 23rd, 2017 of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee. It is a specialized administrative organization under the management of Provincial People's Committee, departments and agencies working in relevant fields as regulated. Provincial Public Administration Center serves as a focal point which instructs, receives and returns results for organizations and individuals in accordance with the approved category of Provincial People's Committee; supports provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to check, monitor, accelerate settlement progress of agencies and units joining in administrative procedure settlement; applies information technology solutions and on-line electronic payment software in settling administrative procedures, building electronic dossiers for citizens and organizations.

Speaking at the Grand Opening Ceremony, Deputy Secretary of Provincial People Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao highly appreciated and congratulated officials and civil servants of Provincial People's Committee Office, Public Administration Center on successfully preparing every condition to timely put Provincial Public Administration Center into operation. In an attempt to develop a modern, friendly and simple administration, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee kindly requested Thua Thien Hue Provincial Public Administration Center to well perform its functions and tasks. Provincial Public Administration Center should be the agency which promotes information technology application in receiving, processing and settling administrative procedure as well as evaluates Center's operational efficiency based on the satisfaction of organizations, individuals and enterprises.

Located on 1 Le Lai street, Vinh Ninh Ward, Hue City, Provincial Public Administration Center was officially ran on December 2017. Up to now, Center has received and settled 1.544 administrative dossiers. No dossier is delayed.
