On the occasion of 1979th anniversary of Hai Ba Trung Uprising and 109th anniversary of International Women Day March 8th, Thua Thien Hue Women Union held a ceremony to honor excellent women of all fields in 2014-2019 period. Attending the ceremony were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha; Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Permanent Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Cai Vinh Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung; the representatives of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province, departments and agencies.
Recalling the heroic tradition of Vietnamese women, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Women Association Tran Thi Kim Loan emphasized that Vietnamese women have promoted their heroism and resilience to obtain achievements and make major contribution to national success. In today national modernization, Vietnamese women continue national heroic tradition, unite, become creative and confident, make important contribution to developing and enhancing national position in international scope. Besides, Vietnamese women are the ones who build happy family, maintain and pass national cultural values to young generations, etc.
In response to patriotism emulation movement, especially "Women enthusiastically study, work and build happy family" movement, Vietnamese women have united, made unceasing effort and contributed to local development in recent five years (2014-2019). Through these emulation movements, shining examples are found in the fields of politics, economy, culture, social affairs and national defense. In particular, there are 89 excellent women in province-wide women emulation. They are emulation soldiers, excellent individuals who make effort in labor, study, work, economic development and science research. Also, they are shining examples in building happy families and civilized lifestyle.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha speaks at the honoring ceremony
On March 8th occasion, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha was on behalf of provincial leaders to extend the best wishes to women in province, especially 89 excellent individuals in 2014-2019 period who are beautiful flowers contributing to the tradition of Vietnamese women in general and Thua Thien Hue women in particular.
Permanent Deputy Secretary Bui Thanh Ha emphasized that the ceremony not only aimed to honor excellent individuals but also review, draw lessons to unceasingly renew the content and form of patriotism movements as well as promote women emulation movement in province. Deputy Secretary hoped to observe further achievements of Thua Thien Hue Women Union and local women; shining examples and excellent individuals in local women emulation movements.
