(Hue city Portal) - On January 1, 2025, a ceremony was co-held by Tourism Department, Phu Bai International Airport, Central Airports Authority and Vietnam Airlines to welcome first flight and tourists to Hue in 2025. The event aimed to welcome new year 2025, leave special impression and hospitality to visitors. The Standing member of the Hue city’s Party Committee, Vice Permanent Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hue city Nguyen Thanh Binh attended the ceremony.
At 9:15 AM, January 1, 2025, two hundred eighty-five passengers on flight VN6317 from Hanoi landed at Phu Bai International Airport. Passengers, captain and chief flight attendant received flowers and gifts from the leader of the Hue city’s People’s Committee, Tourism Association, Phu Bai International Airport, Central Airports Authority, Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Airlines in Hue city.
The first four passengers received domestic return tickets from Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and souvenirs from Tourism Department. Other passengers also received gifts, enjoyed art performance and received best wishes from Hue city’s leaders and local tourism.
Flight VN6317 lands at Phu Bai International Airport
The event is the beginning of not only Hue Festival 2025 - the four season festival, but also tourism activities in 2025. In addition, it also aims to celebrate the establishment of the centrally governed city.
